Announcing SafetyChain App Version 1.16 & Mobile M2 Final Update
We are pleased to share details on the latest version of the SafetyChain App and the final update for SafetyChain M2, which will be decommissioned on March 1, 2025. Read on for more information.
Version Updates:
SafetyChain App:
Version 1.16 of the SafetyChain App will be available for download Wednesday 10/30/2024. Please see the end of this post for the list of bug fixes included in this version. The SafetyChain App APK file is available here.
SafetyChain M2:
The final release of the Mobile M2 application for iOS and Android will be published this week and users will begin seeing the screens detailed in the Spotlight Post SafetyChain M2 Update - Decommissioning Details and Timeline. The M2 APK file is available here.

APK (Android only): Access the APK via this Spotlight Post on Wednesday, 10/30/2024 in the SafetyChain Improvements HUB.

Bug Fixes Included in 1.16:
Resolved issues related to expressions with Date fields and Date compliance values
Resolved an issue where field values were not correctly automatically calculating unless the user entered the field to jumpstart the calculation
Improved the experience by extending the loader screen to ensure all form data is loaded before a user makes another selection. This resolved an issue that resulted in records displaying incorrectly in LINK
Resolved an issue where field values were not automatically calculating at all and were displaying “NaN”
Resolved an issue where updating and releasing a new form (versioning up) impacted the submission of saved forms that were a previous version
Improved the user experience by removing a message that sometimes displayed when the application launched stating that online connectivity had been restored
