Upcoming Mobile Maintenance Release: Version 1.26.1

This update contains important cross-platform bug fixes, as well as a critical storage optimization update specifically for iOS users. It is scheduled for release Wednesday, March 4.

Cache Optimization (iOS)

What it is: A fix to how the iOS app stores and clears temporary image data.

Why it matters: Reclaims significant device storage and improves long-term app stability.

What to Expect:

• On first image save after updating, the app may briefly pause, become unresponsive, or close unexpectedly

• This is a normal, one-time cleanup process

Optional Action

For the fastest experience if you have a large data accumulation, perform a fresh reinstall (uninstall → reinstall from App Store).

Note: Ensure all pending or failed records are fully synced before uninstalling.

How to Check Your App Storage

1. Open iPhone/iPad Settings

2. Go to General > iPhone/iPad Storage

3. Scroll down and select SafetyChain

4. Check the Documents & Data size — if exceptionally large, proceed with fresh reinstall

Additional Bug Fixes (iOS & Android)

This release also includes the following cross-platform resolutions:

• Audit Scores: Resolved an issue that could cause web and mobile audit scores to mismatch. Questions with no weight value assigned are now consistently excluded from calculations on both platforms, ensuring results match.

• Numeric Inputs: Resolved an issue where numeric values could be lost if a user rapidly navigated between fields using the keyboard's "Next" button. The app will now correctly capture and save these values during rapid keyboard navigation.
