The Power BI Connector v3.1.0 is built on a completely new framework — one designed for better performance, greater scalability, and more reliable data handling. The most significant improvement is in how Record Field Data is managed and retrieved, providing a more efficient and reliable experience.

Important Changes

Not Backward Compatible: Beginning with version 3, the Power BI Connector is no longer compatible with prior versions.

Rebuild Required: Upgrading to version 3.1.0 will require all existing queries to be rebuilt from scratch.

End of Support: Versions prior to version 3 will remain operational and supported for current use; however, they will not receive new features or enhancements. SafetyChain plans to transition these versions to end-of-life within 3 - 6 months, and clients are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
