We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with a host of exciting updates designed to make your experience faster, smoother, and more efficient. These enhancements, available starting January 7, span key areas of our platform:

  • Supplier Compliance Management Module in LINK

  • Resources by Attributes Field

  • SafetyChain App Version 1.20

Here’s what’s new:

  • Supplier Compliance Management Module: Enjoy significantly faster loading times—suppliers page in supplier compliance reporting now loads in half the time! Easily review outstanding requirements and pending approvals with optimized search and filtering tools. Plus, saved filters are now just a click away in a new dropdown menu, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you need. Users can familiarize themselves with the changes using an in-product guide, also accessible here.

  • Resources by Attributes Field: Attribute filtering just got a major upgrade! You can now include attribute fields in saved filters for better customization and efficiency. For quick, multi-layered searches, attributes can also be filtered directly above the grid.

  • SafetyChain App Version 1.20: We’ve focused on squashing bugs and improving usability. Key fixes address app crashes, edge-case workflow challenges, and record submission issues. Favorites filters are now more reliable, and small details—like smoother navigation on the login screen—make the app easier to use every day.

Read on for a full list of mobile bug fixes and guidance on how to access the latest SafetyChain App version.

How to Access the App:

  • Google Play & Apple App Store: Search "SafetyChain App"

  • MDM: Use App name “SafetyChain App”

  • APK (Android only): Access the APK File from the SafetyChain Improvements HUB

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue that in rare instances would result in the app crashing when the user selected values in certain select one fields.

  • Added a loader to appear on the screen so the user cannot select a different form until the data loads. This resolves an issue where the wrong form ID could be stored with a record.

  • Resolved an issue where the Submit and Repeat button would not be available on forms that had the carry over function enabled only on fields within a dependency rule.

  • Resolved an issue where users would receive a “Form Incomplete” error message on some forms when trying to submit a record that did have all required fields completed.

  • Resolved an issue where the “Next” button did not appear on the keyboard in the login screen of the app to navigate to the password field.

  • Resolved an issue that resulted in the user not being logged out after inactivity at the configured timeframe on iOS devices only.

  • Resolved an issue where the limit data settings would reset back to 3 days anytime the user lost and regained connectivity to the application.

  • Resolved an issue where Date Fields were marked as non-compliant when the compliance used “Date Now” in the compliance expression.

  • Resolved an issue where Record submissions would fail to process if the form had a Direct Observation completed and was then Saved on a device in the SafetyChain App, M2, Windows App or web, and then opened to complete and submit the form in a different device.

  • Resolved an issue where the Favorites filter would not be retained after leaving the Forms tab and navigating back to Forms.

  • Improved the pop up notification when a user’s password was updated to correct a typo from “you” to “your”.

  • Resolved an issue where the user would not receive a validation message to include a required attachment if the field that had it was not required.

  • Resolved an issue where the aggregate field calculations were not showing the expected result when the aggregate field had the same field name as a numeric field in the form.
