Dynamic Flow Attachment Carryover

What’s New

We’ve upgraded Dynamic Flow to ensure your teams have all the information they need, right where they need it. While Dynamic Flow already automates follow-up tasks for Product Holds, Facilities Work Orders, Customer Complaints, and more, it now also supports Attachment Carryover.

Attachments from an initiating form can now automatically carry over to the triggered follow-up task, which means every piece of critical context now travels with the task, streamlining execution and reducing time to completion.

See a preview of what this looks like in our mobile app, and how to configure it here:

Benefits

  • Inspection photos, documents, and reference materials arrive with the task — no one has to dig through the originating record to find what they need.

  • The same attachment no longer gets re-uploaded at every handoff. What you attached once follows the work all the way through.

  • Strengthened cross-functional workflows – particularly with Shipping & Receiving, Facilities, Maintenance, and Product R&D teams – by ensuring supporting materials are readily available.

  • Workflows that relied on paper or manual file-sharing — Product Holds, Facilities Work Orders, Customer Complaints — can now be more easily transitioned into SafetyChain using Dynamic Flow.

Availability

This enhancement is available Mar 31, 2026 - no action required. Both New & Existing Dynamic Flows can be configured with this functionality.

Important Note: Our PC app is undergoing some required under-the-hood updates. We plan to bring it into parity with these new features at a later date. Keep an eye out for future updates.
