Announcing SafetyChain App Version 1.18

On Tuesday, 11/19/2024, we will be releasing SafetyChain App version 1.18. This update includes fixes that resolve issues identified in previous versions, along with several enhancements to improve overall performance. Below, you’ll find a summary of the most notable updates, with a complete list of fixes at the end of this communication.

  • Date Expressions for field values and compliance values are working across all use cases

  • SSO logout experiences are now working as expected

  • Expression evaluation improvements


How to Access the App:

  • Google Play & Apple App Store: Search "SafetyChain App"

  • MDM: Use App name “SafetyChain App”

  • APK (Android only): Access the APK File from the SafetyChain Improvements HUB


Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where Dynamic Flow was not working correctly by not carrying forward data as expected

  • Resolved an issue where under certain conditions for select multiple field types, forms could be submitted even if the required fields had not been completed

  • Resolved an issue where submitted records were displaying unexpected corrections

  • Resolved an issue where repeat fields were not being displayed on forms

  • Resolved calculation issues related to field values and compliance values using the Date and Date/Time expressions.

  • Resolved an issue where field values were not automatically calculating unless the user entered a field to jumpstart the calculation

  • Resolved an issue where field values were not automatically calculating and were displaying “NaN”

  • Resolved an issue where records in LINK showed empty/blank fields due to saved form submissions that were an older version following a form update and release

  • Improved the Resource search experience by removing case sensitivity requirements

  • Resolved an issue where users that originally authenticated via SSO would appear to be logged right back in after logging out
