DATE:
AUTHOR: The SafetyChain Team

As we roll out version 1.12 of the SafetyChain App today, it's fitting that the number 12 represents new opportunities—bringing you an enhanced mobile experience that sets the stage for future innovation.

As you transition to the new app, please take note of the important details regarding access, a known bug related to Tasks, and the timeline for deprecating the M2 app.

How to Access the App:

  • Google Play & Apple App Store: Search SafetyChain App

  • MDM: Use App name “SafetyChain App”

  • APK (Android only): Access the APK in this Dropbox folder

Known Bug Related to Tasks

We found a discrepancy in how tasks were displayed in the app. You may notice a difference in task count displayed in the new SafetyChain App from the count displayed in M2. However, there is no loss of data, and we will be resolving this known bug by Monday October 14th.

Timeline Details

The M2 app will no longer be able to receive any bug fixes from SafetyChain effective November 1st and will no longer be available in the store for download. The M2 app will be available for use through February 28th, at which point it will be deprecated.

Reminder for MDM Users

Customers using MDMs, please be in touch with our support organization if you are having any issues downloading or utilizing the app. We are available to work with you to resolve any issues you may be experiencing.
