A Simpler, Faster Way to Share Your Product Ideas

AUTHOR: The SafetyChain Team

At SafetyChain, your feedback directly shapes how our platform evolves. Over the past three years, many of you across our customer community have shared thoughtful suggestions through the Ideas Hub. We are grateful for that engagement.

While the Ideas Hub helped formalize product feedback, we recognize it had limitations. Some ideas did not receive clear updates, and the platform itself presented technical challenges. We believe there is a better way to ensure your ideas receive the visibility and response they deserve.

Effective March 30, 2026, we will officially retire the Ideas Hub portal.

What’s Changing

Going forward, all product ideas should be submitted through our Customer Support channel, the same way you submit a ticket or question.

You can:

This change allows your idea to follow a dedicated and transparent path:

  1. Quick engagement from our Support team, confirming your idea has been received.

  2. Support completes a handoff to the Product team, ensuring the right context and details are captured.

  3. The Product team reviews the ticket and requirements, and the idea is formally logged into our Jira repository, ensuring it is evaluated alongside other roadmap priorities.

  4. The Product team assigns the appropriate status as ideas move through the funnel:

    • Acknowledged:  The idea has been received.

    • No Action: The idea is identified as requiring no action due to product direction or alternative solutions.

    • Completed: The idea is part of a formal release or solution.

  5. Additional follow-up steps are completed as needed, depending on the scope and nature of the idea.

How to Submit an Effective Idea

When submitting, focus on the problem you are trying to solve, not just the feature itself.

For example:

  • Instead of “Add a blue reporting button,” share “I need to quickly access reporting data from X page, because the current multi-step process is slowing my team’s daily workflow.”

To help us evaluate your idea effectively, context matters. The more clearly you describe the problem, use case, and business impact, the better we can understand the value behind your request and collaborate with you on the right solution.

For guidance, we’ve created a short template to help you frame your idea with the right level of detail. You can access it here: Have a Feature Request or Idea.

What About Existing Ideas?

We have received a wealth of valuable ideas from you over the years, and those are not going away. We have exported those ideas and incorporated them, where appropriate, into our broader product roadmap planning process.

Our goal is simple: when you take the time to share an idea, you receive clarity, accountability, and a timely response.

We value your partnership and remain committed to building the future of SafetyChain together.

Thank you for your continued collaboration.
