A Better Way to Stay Informed: SafetyChain’s New Product Deployment & Release Notes Schedule
At SafetyChain, we believe that when we release a new feature or deploy a bug fix, you should feel excited, reassured, and fully informed—ready to take advantage of what’s new without missing a beat. However, we’ve heard your feedback: our current monthly release schedule hasn’t always delivered that seamless experience.
That’s why we’re making some key adjustments to how we roll out updates and communicate changes. These improvements will provide:
Better training materials so new and existing users can get up to speed quickly
In-product reference materials to ensure the right users are notified at the right time
More logical release note cadence that makes them easier to use and reference
What’s Changing?
More frequent updates, no downtime – Features and bug fixes can now be deployed weekly, ensuring faster improvements without any disruption to your workflow. If any downtime is required, rest assured we’ll keep you informed through our regular communication channels.
Enhanced release communications – When new features or impactful bug fixes are deployed, you’ll see:
In-product references notifying relevant users
Updated Knowledge Base (KB) articles for easy learning
Clickable product tours (when applicable) to help you and your team navigate changes effortlessly
New release notes format – We’re introducing a new format for our release notes! Instead of announcing changes a week before deployment, release notes will now provide a summary of everything deployed, roughly over the past 30 days. This retrospective approach offers a clearer and more comprehensive reference for updates you may not have had a chance to explore yet.
When Does This Start?
This new approach begins now! Our first updated release notes, covering deployments from January 7 – February 4, will be available on Thursday, February 6. Any changes of note will also be highlighted in-product or directly on support tickets for relevant bug fixes.
Your Feedback Matters!
As with any process change, we’ll continue refining this based on your input. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM)—your insights will help us make this even better!
Thank you for being a valued part of the SafetyChain community. We’re excited to bring you updates in a way that keeps you informed and supported every step of the way.
